2010 Paralympic Games

Hello Everyone! ~~ As you can see I am gearing up for my 3rd experience working with world class athletes at an olympic / paralympic venue!

Am I excited... you could say that, I have been watching & following the Olympic Games everyday. I get excited when I see athletes that I know & have worked with and built solid working relationships with. It's just completely amazing!! So.... YES I am extremely excited & can not wait to get there.

I know that I will have long & challenging days ahead ~~ but this is what I chose for my career path and I am loving every minute of it! I feel honored to be asked to come back and work with the sports med team again. It is my job to be there & support our US Paralympic athletes so they can go out and perform and do their jobs to bring home the GOLD!

I will be posting regular messages to keep everyone updated on the behind the scenes action during the games. I will be located in Whistler for the most part, and will be transitioned down to Van Couver toward the end of the games to help assist with the sled hockey team!! I get to see it all!

I will try and upload photos too.. however I'm not an IT person... so the photos may have to wait until I get home... we'll see.

I will also find out if the Paralympics will be televised so you can catch some of the action... There could be a possibility that some of the medical staff could be in the opening & closing ceremonies too!!! Keep your eyes peeled!

So check out the blog every once in a while to see whats going on.. it's going to be great!

The Paralympic Games will run from March 12th - 21st, 2010

I will be returning home on the 24th of March!

Thanks for your continued support ~~ I really appreciate it!

Always & the "Glitter" will be with me in Van Couver!
