But I will say I was running on an unhealthy balance in my life. I absolutely LOVE my job, my profession and what I have created in RI... Ultimate Sports Massage, LLC. The branding alone is brilliant! One thing I have always said is if you work hard it will pay off in the end... in deed it has and I have definitely set my girls up for success.
So this new endeavor will involve alot of the aspects of the USMT office in RI with one slight change.. I am going to stick to solid boundaries when it comes to the healthy balance I need in my life. Work, home life with the Gunny and my children & grandchildren
I still LOVE my job and profession... but I have nothing to prove... I am an expert in what I do and it doesn't matter where I live... I will continue to provide goal orientated, performance based outcomes and my clients & athletes will still experience the results I set out to help them achieve.
The USMT will continue to participate in sporting events and we will continually be recognized for the outstanding service we provide... these principals will not change, the expectations will not change and I will forever strive to set a standard that will be hard to beat!
I have had the opportunity in the past month to spend quiet time with myself ( riding my bike) and visiting my parents who also live in NC as well. They are in Bostic NC and I will be in Jacksonville NC.. there is about a 6 hour drive in between.... it's beautiful here! So many opportunities... I need to remember to pace myself and I also want to share my knowledge and experiences with other MT's ... there is no stopping the motivated warrior! ( That's me!)
My new mantra is going to be : healthy balance in life!
There is a funny story I use to tell my students on the first day of class with them... I won't get into the story, but on one hand I use to say a name associated with each finger....
Eddie, Rainee, Alex, Gunny & Lynn... there has been additions to that list... Riley, Duke & Dave... this is my healthy balance. :o)
With that.. I'm going to get a hair cut, go to the track and then hang out with my mom & dad.
Always & yes.. the glitter is with me!

I am taking it one day at a time.. the Wallace Creek Fitness facility is not complete yet so I am on "stand by". But once it opens up.. watch out because I'm going to be "balls to the walls".
Since I am in a "holding pattern" and I am not use to all this "down time" ... I am going to pass my resume` out at local massage places and Chiropractic & PT facilities for the time being.. even if it's working part time and for someone else.. I'll do it.
I have visited my parents in western North Carolina as well.... this state has an enormous amount to offer someone who is extremely active or likes to travel and see knew things. I am really happy to be back here and I can tell you that it will not take me long to create new opportunities for myself here.
Last week I visited the local bike shop... I'm in love & have found my next new bike.. this one will be for my Sprint Tri events... and I plan on competing.. not just participating!
I will touch base more often... so stay tuned and yes for inquiring minds... the Glitter is with me!!
