Raising the Bar
We are leaders in sports and rehabilitative muscular therapy modalities
LORI-ANN
NC LMBT #5425 Lori-Ann is the energetic and dynamic innovator of Ultimate Sports Massage Therapy – bringing a new approach to massage and muscular therapy rehabilitation along with athletic sports performance. Through her perseverance Lori-Ann has been successfully selected to work at the Athens, Beijing, Vancouver and RIO Olympic Games as a key member of the sports medicine medical team providing her brand of sports massage to the athletes. |
Lori-Ann has also worked closely with the US National Bobsled – Skeleton Team for the past 10 years at team trials in Lake Placid NY or on tour with them in Europe for World Cup and World Championship competitions.
Lori-Ann continues to raise the bar on new techniques, modalities and continuing education for herself and sports massage team to better serve the many clients, athletes and Marines who visit the USMT office. Lori-Ann is an approved provider by the NCBTMB and a certified IASTM (Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization) instructor. She is an extremely skilled and knowledgeable therapist with an incredible passion for what she does. Lori-Ann cares deeply about helping her clientele. When Lori-Ann is not in the office and providing her favorite brand of “bone crushing” sports massage, she could be riding her bike or running and possibly writing a quick note, but then again she could be thinking about her “Super Heroes”! |

Valen currently expanded her education of the practices of yoga in a 200 hour Integrative Vinyasa yoga teacher training program with Coral Brown in RI. Her interests for continuing education in massage therapy for this year lie in Cranio-sacral Therapy Certification as well. |
